                   Cigu District in Tainan is famous for its salt production and aquafarming. Because Cigu district is frequently flooded during the rainy season, an energy company combines fish farms and solar systems as an innovative solution that ensures sustainability. These fish farms also act as retention ponds to help alleviate flooding. The energy company installed 38 HCP PUMP L Series Large Volume Pumps across the 150 hectares of fish farms and integrated them with its drainage system. The 10 HP L-250A pumps 5.5m3/min at 4m head and effectively drains during strong storms, protecting the solar system equipment and the residents in Cigu district.
