HCP Job Report 41 : Pumping Station Replacement in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

◎ Models Installed:LA Series - Submersible Axial flow Pumps

◎ Description:
Cijin District is a narrow port in Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan. Being in the lowlands, the residents experienced frequent flooding on rainy days. The flooding worsened during the high tides. To alleviate the flooding, the Water Resource Bureau planted multiple pumping stations. Unfortunately, one of the old pumping stations required a pump replacement. The new pump is a well-type HCP PUMP LA Series Axial Flow Pump. The 75kW LA-28100 pumps 60m3/min at 5m head and fits into the spot of the original pump. The pump has effectively helped keep the residents away from flooding after installation.
