Moon World in Kaohsiung, Taiwan is a famous tourist attraction. The “rejuvenation” of the earth’s crust and the intense rain and river erosion formed the harsh terrain in Moon World. This special scenery was captured and broadcast by CNN in “10 reasons to love Kaohsiung”. The moon world in the valley of the Erren River often had water accumulated in the nearby villages due to its geographic location in the lowlands and insufficient drainage. The water bureau proposed constructing a new water pump station to relieve the villages from their long-term suffering. The pump station is designed to quickly collect the water and discharge a maximum of 1.8 CMS of water by 4 HCP PUMP 60HP LA-2260 into the Erren River. The villages enjoy the result of effective flood control after the water pump station is completed in 2021.
