◎ Models Installed:BD Series - Submersible Dewatering Pumps

◎ Description:
Taipei City is the most populated city in Taiwan with a developed MRT system. Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation planned to build the Wanda line from the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. The new line constitutes 22 stations and 1 underground maintenance depot. While excavating for the 11 underground stations, the seemingly unstoppable groundwater needed to be pumped out to keep the construction on schedule. The contractor used HCP PUMP BD Series Dewatering Pumps to solve the groundwater issue. The 22kW 150BD222 discharges 2m3/min at 37m head, and the high chrome alloy steel (HiCrFC) has a hardness of up to 55~60 HRC for anti-abrasiveness. The BD Series has won the 2023 Taiwan Excellence Award, also known as the Industrial Oscar Award for its quality and design. The contractor was satisfied with the BD Series, and the construction could progress without hindrance.
